Veronica Robles Cultural Center is open to all families and individuals interested on learning, fostering and sharing the culture and values of the Latin American Countries and Spanish Speaking World.
VROCC provides affordable, high quality dance, music, arts, multimedia training and Spanish language to educate children, youth and their families in low-income, predominantly Latino communities about Latin American culture and values.
We create community events and activities that include visual and performing arts and sports to help eradicate and prevent child and youth obesity, schools drop out, the use of alcohol, drugs and other destructive behaviors.
VROCC provides enrichment and educational programs to schools, libraries, and other public venues.
We also use social media channels to provide facts, and other related data about the history and culture of Latin American.
Our programs include creating networking opportunities for members to encourage family and community unity around collective learning experiences and celebrations of dance, culture and the opportunity to practice Spanish language on an intellectual oriented environment.
We use the power of media, video and music production to create social consciousness, inform about resources that may help to improve quality of life of Hispanic community and to help promote local cultural, educational and health events. We offer internships, volunteer, training and job opportunities to young people on media and performing arts field which inspires involvement in said activities and programs in order to have a greater impact for change. These activities also help to prevent juvenile delinquency; help to develop self-esteem, self-expression, and creativity; encourage learning; foster leadership, and inspire participants to attend college.
To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with other organizations, corporations and schools for educational and charitable purposes.
